Stories for Sendai Blog Tour de Force: the Schedule!
I’m really excited to be running my first ever blog tour! I call it the Stories for Sendai Blog Tour de Force!
Some of you may already know that I’m co-editing a charity anthology with Michelle Davidson Argyle. Stories for Sendai is a collection of 20 uplifting and inspirational short stories and poems about the strength of the human spirit. All proceeds from sales will be donated to charity in aid of victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.
To promote the release of the anthology on June 30th, I’m organising this Blog Tour de Force, where I’ll be visiting a total of 16 blogs to talk about Stories for Sendai. Topics will include my reasons for setting up the project, the process of compiling and editing an anthology, general insights on writing, and more! Also, there may be some giveaways along the way…;)
I am really grateful to the hosts for allowing me to hijack their blogs for this wonderful cause! And here it is, the full tour schedule:
June 23rd: Susan Fields
June 24th: Charity Bradford @ My Writing Journey
June 25th: Michael Di Gesu @ In Time…
June 26th: Jessica Bell @ The Alliterative Allomorph

In addition to my Blog Tour de Force, Michelle will be running a blog tour of her own for the anthology, so make sure you follow her blog! Also, there will be a “Meet the Authors” series on the Stories for Sendai blog featuring interviews with the anthology’s contributing authors. This will run from June 10th to 29th. It’s a great way to learn about our contributors!
Have I missed anything? Oops…I have! In conjunction with release day, Michelle and I are also running a…
PRIZE DRAW!!
All you have to do is purchase a copy of Stories for Sendai, and email a copy of your receipt to storiesforsendai(at)ymail(dot)com to be entered for the draw. Closing date: July 15th!
Full contest details and list of prizes can be found on the Stories for Sendai site.
So mark these dates in your diaries, folks! And if you can, please do purchase a copy (or two!) of Stories for Sendai when it releases on June 30th! We are hoping for a big opening day to boost the book up Amazon’s ranking charts. That would give us even more exposure!
