Weekly Round-Up
Yee-haw! Welcome to the Weekly Round-up, where I lasso up the week’s latest news and rootin’-tootin’ literary articles on the Net!
In the news: why publishers Faber is running a self-publishing course. (via Futurebook)
EPublishaBook.com has an interesting post on the differences between an author and a writer.
And an open call for submissions: my publisher, J. Taylor Publishing, is seeking submissions for their winter 2012 Make Believe anthology, based on a picture prompt. For guidelines and to view the picture prompt, click here. Deadline: April 11, 2012.
Finally, check back here, same time next week, for my official cover reveal for Oracle! I have a Mystery Tour planned, with a $20 Amazon gift card to entice you! Can’t wait to share the cover and official blurb with everyone!

Butt-kicking bookworm. Displaced Malaysian. Writes crime & thrillers. Debut novel ORACLE will be released by J. Taylor Publishing on 30th July 2012.

I always did news days!
Thanks, Alex!
Thank you for the info. I’ll check it out!
You’re welcome, Theresa.
Thanks for the links. I might check out that anthology.
Go on! It should be fun. That’s a cool picture, and could be quite a challenge.
I was excited about the anthology until I saw it was for 18+ – not my crowd
But I still like the picture prompt. Can’t wait to see your cover!
I’m sure you’d have lots of ideas if it were YA or younger!
Thanks for mentioning the anthology. The picture for it is awesome.
